Bronx native Marcus Williams Aka Rocky-B, Conflick, or Young Hope Has always appreciated the art of music and expressing inner thoughts through acting, and poetry. He began developing his appreciation for the art by connecting creativity and artistic vision into songs and poetry by the time he was in Middle School. His passion and dedication lead him to the Apollo stage, and even a Sprite Showcase for the art of Spoken Word which he won a 30sec sprite commercial during the 2010 NBA Finals. My momma calls me Marcus. I live for music! My music is the very essence of who I am and when I look at the state of music in general, hip hop in particular,
I get a pounding headache in my heart.I was born and raised in the Bronx, running up and down the back blocks getting into all kinds of trouble in these streets. My parents seperated when I was about 9 years old and I got that much worse as a young hoodlum destined for destruction, moving from place to place and getting worse every year. Long story short, I saw The Light and transformed my message from one filled with death, to one filled with life. My story is in my music, My faith is in my music, my love is in my music, my “Hope” is in my music. Yall take this walk wit me".
